Description
Battery is required for the backup of the retain data and
the real-time clock (RTC) of the device. .batteryexisting
can be used to query whether a battery is available.
The retain data and the real-time clock (RTC) are
backed up via SuperCap. A battery can be used as an
option to extend the backup time. .batteryexisting can
be used to query whether a battery is available.
Example: D4x5
A battery is not required for the backup of the retain
data.
Only the real-time clock (RTC) is backed up via
SuperCap. A battery can be used as an option to
extend the backup time of the real-time clock.
