Overview of the SGEs/SGAs and their structure

Description
The safety-related input and output signals (SGEs and SGAs) are the interface of the internal
Safety Integrated functionality to the process.
SGE signals (safety-related input signals) control the active monitoring by deselecting or
selecting the safety functions. This is also realized, depending on the status (switching status)
of sensors.
SGA signals (safety-related output signals) are feedback signals from safety functions. They
can also be used to control actuators in a safety-related fashion.
