15. Remove input drive roller rear pulley, belts, and bearing. (PL 5.4B)
a. Open upper scanner assembly.
b. Remove six screws securing electrical box to frame and remove
screws securing ground straps to left end of electrical box.
Slide the left end far enough from the terminal to enable
access to gears and belts at the left end.
c. Remove the two belts from pulley (Figure 11).

d. Loosen set screw in input drive roller shaft pulley (Figure 11),
and remove pulley.
e. Remove bearing from end of shaft (Figure 11).

16. Remove input drive roller. (PL 5.4B)
a. Remove ADF belt cartridge.
Care should be taken when removing or replacing lower document
guide to avoid scratching the video glass or damaging the sensors.
b. Remove four securing screws, and remove lower document
guide by sliding it to the left then lifting it out of the terminal.
c. Slide shaft toward the front until the rear of shaft is clear, then
lift out.
