Scaling Scaling Up the System
Every Intelligent Paint Kitchen system has at least
one Supervisor Box containing at least one fiber optic
converter. As more stations are added to the system,
Expansion Boxes and Supervisor Boxes may be
required.
One Supervisor Box can hold up to 10 fiber optic
converters. Each fiber optic converter represents a
connection to exactly one station. If your system has
more than 10 stations, add an Expansion Box as
shown below.
An Intelligent Paint Kitchen with one Supervisor
Box and one Expansion Box can accommodate a
maximum of 20 fiber optic converters, controlling up
to 20 stations.
