Insert power supply into Core/Net module power supply slot.
In Core 1, inspect the CNI to 3PE (NT4N29) and system monitor
(NT4N89) cables
New NT4N29 cables must be installed for existing Network group 0. If the
system has XSDI cards, reinstall the cards and attach the cables. Inspect the
NT4N89 system monitor cables. See Figure 23 on
Fanout Panel

Preparing for power up

Check that a terminal is connected to the J25 I/O panel connector
(COM 1) on Core/Net 1.
Note: A maintenance terminal is required to access the Core/Net
modules during the upgrade.

Connect a terminal to the J25 port on the I/0 panel in Core 1.

Check the terminal settings as follows:
