The command CSI n ) t should always be used when only one print line
i
can be made available to the printer and for this reason performance
problems arise.
The control point is acknowledged when the last mechanical task is
started.
For example, a print task is acknowledged when all the conditions for
correct execution of the print line are fulfilled, this means:

Data is transferred;

Document edges are measured;
–
Feeds are executed;
–
Paper is present;
–
Lid is closed;
–
Print procedure is started.
By means of an earlier release of the acknowledgement signal it is pos-
sible for the workstation to request a new task from the system earlier
and to transfer it to the printer during the time in which the last mecha-
nical procedure has not yet terminated.
