(2) Parameter configuration page of Port
Parameter configuration page of Port (Fig 18-26) allow user check parameter of all the Port and
is capable of configuration of STP status on the port and priority.
The page covers many examples and 255 samples can be set up at most; all the defaulted ports
is a member of sample 1 which can be deleted, but can not be amended.
User can change the STP status of port into disable, which can prevent the STP from being
calculated. User can change the priority of port (default is 128); the lower the priority, the bigger
the possibility of Root-port.
