DETAILED LISTS OF SERVO PARAMETERS
Precautions
• MR-J5-_G_-RJ will be available in the future.
Restrictions
Settable servo parameters and values depend on the controller model, servo amplifier software version, and MR
Configurator2 software version. For details, refer to the controller user's manual. Refer to the Mitsubishi Electric FA site for the
latest software version of MR Configurator2. The software version of the servo amplifier can be checked with MR
Configurator2, objects, or others.
Precautions
Never make a drastic adjustment or change to the servo parameter values as doing so will make the operation unstable.
Do not change the servo parameter settings as described below. Doing so may cause an unexpected condition, such as
failing to start up the servo amplifier.
• Changing the values of the servo parameters for manufacturer setting
• Setting a value outside the range
• Changing the fixed values in each servo parameter
When writing servo parameters with the controller, make sure that the control axis No. of the servo amplifier is set correctly.
Otherwise, the servo parameter settings of another axis may be written, possibly causing the servo amplifier to be an
unexpected condition.
Some servo parameters are adjusted automatically. For example, auto tuning automatically adjusts gain servo parameters.
Some servo parameters correspond to the objects that can be updated periodically in cyclic communication. For example, [Pr.
PT45 Homing method] corresponds to [Homing method (Obj. 6098h)]. When a relevant object is mapped in cyclic
communication, the controller overwrites the servo parameter value written with an engineering tool or others. Thus, do not
write a value with the engineering tool or others.

Structure

The following shows the structure of the servo parameter list.
Item
Explanation
No.
Indicates the servo parameter No.,
which can be identified by the servo
parameter group and number.
Symbol
Indicates the abbreviation of the servo
parameter.
"*" added to abbreviations means the
following.
*: After setting, cycle the power, or reset
either the controller or the software.
**: After setting, cycle the power or
reset the software.
Name
Indicates the name of the servo
parameter.
Initial value
Indicates the servo parameter initial value at factory setting.
(unit)
When there is a unit in the servo parameter, the unit is shown with [ ].
Setting range
Indicates the setting range of the servo parameter.
Setting
For multi axis servo amplifier, "Common" is shown when each axis is set for a common setting, and "Each axis" is shown when each axis
method
is set for an individual setting.
When "Common" is shown, the latest setting value is applied to all the axes.
Supported
Indicates the supported software version of the servo amplifier. The servo parameter is available with servo amplifiers with the software
software
version or later.
version
Servo parameter No., symbols, and names are indicated as follows.
