7.5 Fuses

To protect the installation against electrical and fire hazards, all filters in an installation must be protected against short-
circuiting and overcurrent according to national and international regulations.
To protect both frequency converter and filter, select the type of fuses recommended in the frequency converter design
guide. The maximum fuse rating per filter size is listed in Table 7.24 to Table 7.27.
