KEYPADS PROGRAMMING

To program a keypad follow the instructions below:
1. Enter on the keypad the Installer code (default 000000) and press OK key.
2. Press MENU key.
3. Press ▼ key until "PROGRAMMING" appears on the display.
4. Press OK key to confirm.
5. Press OK key to confirm.
6. Press OK key to confirm.
7. Press ▼ and ▲ keys to select the desired keypad.
8. Press OK key to confirm.
9. Press OK key to confirm.
10. Press OK key to select "SYSTEM" and with ▼ and ▲ keys select "DO NOT ASSIGN", in
order not to associate the keypad to any zone, or "ASSIGN" to associate it to all the zones,
by confirming the selection with OK key.
11. Otherwise the single zone can be associated to the keypad, by pressing ▼ key, when the
image of step 7 appears, until "ZONES" is shown.
12. Press OK key to confirm.
Select desired zones and press OK key to confirm.
13. Press ESC key repeatedly until "ASSIGN" appears again.
14. Press ▼ key until "GONG FUNCTION" appears. Press OK key and with ▼ and ▲ keys
choose if gong audio signal emitted by the keypad buzzer is enabled or disabled, by
confirming selection with OK key.
15. Press ▼ key until "SOUND TIME ENTRY" appears.
16. Press OK key and with ▼ and ▲ keys choose if entry time audio signal with keypad
buzzer is enabled or disabled, by confirming selection with OK key.
17. Press ▼ key until "SOUND TIME EXIT" appears.
18. Press OK key and with ▼ and ▲ keys choose if the exit time acoustic signalling with the
keypad buzzer is enabled or disabled, by confirming the selection with OK key.
19. Press key ▼ until "ENVIR. LISTENING" appears.
Press OK key and use keys ▼ and ▲ to choose whether enable or disable automatic
listening at the end of an emergency call, confirming the choice by OK key.
NOTE 1: By enabling this function, it is determined that, in the case of a call for Emergency
Alarm activated by an Emergency input or owing to lack of movement, at the end of sending
pre- recorded vocal message, the system automatically activates listening from this vocal
keypad. If more vocal keypads are present, this function must only be activated for that
keypad from which automatic listening is preferred to occur. Called user can consequently
listen, from his/her phone, the voices and noise from the environment where the keypad is
located; as an example, the environment might be the living room; through DTMF commands
(see 5.6.6) it can be switch to listen on other keypads if the system is provided with them.
NOTE 2 if emergency alarm was activated by pressing a keypad function key, automatic
listening at end of call is directly from this keypad independently of "ENVIR. LISTENING"
programming.
20. Press ▼ key until "MASKING" appears.
Press OK key and with ▼ and ▲ keys choose if system state masking on display is
enabled or disabled, for not authorized people (see § 5.2.8), by confirming selection with
OK key. Masking hides active and not active zones display; zones will be visible only after
entering a valid code.
21. Press ▼ key until "NAME" appears.
22. Select with OK key.
Give the keypad a descriptive name, by following the information in paragraph 4.2
Alphanumeric characters input.
