Inputs specialisations

Alarm input configuration specifies how, when and what type of alarm is generated. According to the type of generated
alarm, the control panel will activate the specific devices (outputs, sirens and communicator).
For further details about each function see chapter 3 Alarms, Events and Signalling.
Below there are described possible inputs specialisations.
BURGLAR – IMMEDIATE INPUT
Input opening generates burglar alarm when:
– the zones it belongs to are all active, when attribute "Common input" is set to "AND Zone"
– at least one out of the zones it belongs to is active, when attribute "Common input" is set to "OR Zone".
BURGLAR – DELAYED INPUT
Typically used for detectors located between control member (keypad or key reader) and output (e.g. entrance door
magnetic contact).
Delayed specialised input generates burglar alarm only after its Delay time has elapsed.
Delay time can be defined separately for each single input (in programming input).
If, within a zone, one only delayed input is present, input delay time determines both "Exit time" and "Entry time"
(consequently, "Exit time" and "Entry time" are equal).
If, within a zone, more delayed inputs are present, having different Delay Times, the system operates in following way:
at zone arming,
with zone active,
The delay time, and consequently the generation of the alarm can be stopped disabling the system.
It is possible to enable keypads buzzer acoustic signalling during "Delay Time"– see paragraph 4.8.
PRE-ALARM
The input opening generates the burglar Pre-alarm if:
– the zones it belongs to are all active, when attribute "Common input" is set to "AND Zone"
– at least one out of the zones it belongs to is active, when attribute "Common input" is set to "OR Zone".
TAMPER
The input opening generates the Tamper alarm, regardless of the zones arm state. The input is 24h type.
AUDIBLE PANIC
The input opening generates the Panic alarm, regardless of the zones arm state. The input is 24h type.
SILENT PANIC
The input opening generates the Silent panic alarm, regardless of the zones arm state. The input is 24h type.
HOLD-UP
The input opening generates the hold-up alarm, regardless of the zones arm state. The input is 24h type.
EMERGENCY
The input opening generates the Emergency alarm, regardless of the zones arm state. The input is 24h type.
FIRE
The input opening generates the Fire alarm, regardless of the zones arm state. The input is 24h type.
RESET FIRE
The input opening switch for 1 second the associated Fire reset outputs and resets the Fire alarms, regardless of the
zones arm state. Are deleted alarms and previously activated fire alarm memories. The input is 24h type.
TECHNOLOGICAL
The input opening generates a technological event, regardless of the zones arm state. The input is 24h type.
NOTE: technological inputs must be at least associated with technological output (through the zones).
FAILURE
The input opening generates the Failure alarm, regardless of the zones arm state. The input is 24h type.
KEY
The input opening activates or deactivates all the associated zones, by toggling the state (if they are active, it deactivates
them and vice versa). If some zones are activated and other zones deactivated, it totally deactivates them.
INPUT OF TEST
The input opening and closing generates events for event log and state displaying, without activating any alarm. The
operation is always active (24h), regardless of zones arm state. It can be used to check a detector without generating
false alarms.
DS1067-035A
useful time to go out without generating an alarm corresponds to longer Delay time
useful time to come in without generating an alarm is that time which is associated to
first delayed input being opened.
