Environmental listening test

If in the system are included one or more keypads connected for environmental listening, it is strongly encouraged to
verify that this feature is working properly.
For this purpose make a call from a telephone located outside the area to be controlled and follow the procedure
described in paragraph 5.6.7 Environmental listening.
When the function is activated, verify that the signal level is good in all the area to be controlled; otherwise it should be
necessary to install further keypads in order to manage the zones where the signal is not sufficient.

Final tests

In addition to the above mentioned tests perform the following checks:
System arming or disarming (total or partial) with keypads, if present, by using all the programmed user codes.
System arming or disarming with readers, if present, by using all the available keys.
System remote control - if the answer machine has been enabled - with fixed telephone, mobile or via modem (in
these cases it may be necessary the help of an external assistant).

4.21 EVENT LOG DELETING

Warning: deleting operation is not reversible!
At the end of installation, it is suggested to delete from the memory all the stored events, in order to deliver a "clean"
system.
To delete the event log follow the instructions below:
1. Enter on the keypad the Installer code (default 000000) and press OK key.
2. Press MENU key.
3. Press ▼ key until "EVENT LOG " appears on the display.
4. Press OK key to confirm. "SYSTEM" appears on the display.
5. Press OK key to confirm and then ▼ key until "ERASE EVENT LOG" appears on the
display.
6. Press OK key. "ERASE EVENT LOG IN PROGRESS..." appears on the display and the
event log file is deleted.
7. Press ESC key repeatedly to exit from the menu.

4.22 USERS TRAINING

Once the whole burglar system features have been verified, it is possible to show final users main operations to be
carried out on the system.
To obtain the best results from this training, follow the instructions below:
If possible, directly involve all the people that will use 1067 system: if only one person is trained, he could forget
something or may not be able to pass on correct information to the other users.
First carry out an operation yourself (for example, system arming or disarming) and then ask all people to repeat it in
your presence. So, if someone has doubts or any problem occurs, you will be able to help them.
Invite people to ask any question: if all doubts are removed, users will be able to use easier the system.
Main instructions to be given to users concern:
Complete system arm and disarm.
Partial system arm and disarm.
How to recognize different signalling: burglar, tamper attempt, flat battery, etc. (on display and acoustic).
How to read the events stored in the control panel (Event log).
How to change time and date, especially when time is changed from Solar Time to Summer Time and vice versa.
How to enable remote management (if the control panel is equipped with the communicator).
How to carry out the system periodical test.
