5.2

DISARMING

5.2.1

Total disarming with keypad

To totally disarm the system, follow the instructions below:
1. Enter on the keypad the Master code or a valid User code.
2. Press OFF# key.
3. On the display appears a black square for each existing and active zone, associated to the
keypad and to the code. Empty squares, if present, indicate that the zone is already
deactivated. The buzzer signals that disarm is in progress. To exit without disarming press
ESC key.
4. After 5 seconds the state LED turns off and the squares become white, indicating the
zones that have been disabled. If it is needed to speed up the procedure, press again
OFF* key and the disarm will be immediate.
5. The display automatically turns back to the standard screen after one minute.
In order to obtain in advance the standard screen, press ESC key.
Warning: by this procedure a user deactivates only the zones for which he is enabled, and not necessarily all the
zones.
5.2.2

Total disarming with electronic or proximity key

To disarm some zones with a reader, follow the instructions below:
1. Insert the electronic key in the reader, or bring near the proximity key to the transponder.
2. Take out the key or move the transponder away when the yellow LED will start blinking
3. The green LED will turn off.
4. Should any LED start blinking, this indicates that certain zones assigned to them are still armed, however they cannot
be disarmed by the key being used.

Total disarming by remote control

Total disarm of all system zones can be only performed if the remote control has been properly programmed
(see § 4.11 Remote control programming).
To disarm all zones (the whole system) via remote control, proceed as follows:
1.
Press Key 4
Disarm, if the control panel has acknowledged the command, the remote control buzzer will sound
a beep.
2.
On the keypad, the green LED "N " will switch off thereby confirming total disarm.
3.
On all readers, the green LEDs corresponding to all disarmed zones will switch off.
5.2.4

Partial disarming with keypad

To partially disarm the system, follow the instructions below:
1. Enter on the keypad the Master code or a valid User code.
2. Press OFF# key.
3. On the display appears a black square for each existing and active zone, associated to the
keypad and to the code. Empty squares, if present, indicate that the zone is already
deactivated. The buzzer signals that disarm is in progress. To exit without disarming press
ESC key.
4. Enter with the keypad the number of zones to be deactivated: the state LED blinks and the
respective squares become empty.
5. Press again OFF# key; the selected zones will be deactivated.
6. The display automatically turns back to the standard screen after one minute.
In order to obtain in advance the standard screen, press ESC key.
5.2.5

Hold-up disarming from keypad

When you are threatened and forced by a burglar, and risk your life, you can disarm the system from a keypad and at the
same time generate hold-up alarm, which, if programmed, can be via communicator sent as vocal, numeric message and
modem. Hol-up event cannot be detected locally in any way (no sirens, no optical warnings, etc.). To disarm system
under hold-up, just increment the last digit of your user code by one, then disarm. For example, if the user code is
000021, enter 000022.
