Bypass allowed
If an input is prearranged as an input with "bypass allowed", the input will be subjected to either manual or automatic
exclusions.

4.6.5
Ancillary functions (Gong, Courtesy light, Door opening, Absence of move)
To burglar inputs, ancillary functions can be associated that can be used with system disarmed.
Ancillary functions can only work if all zones associated to input are not active.
For more details on single functions, see chapter 3 Alarms, Events and Signalling.
Each input can only have one out of following Ancillary functions:
None: no ancillary function armed.
Absence of move: when the system is disarmed, the inputs enabled to this function are constantly checked; if within the
fixed time (12 hours, fixed) they do not send any state change, an Emergency alarm is generated. The timer is reset at
every input opening. The function is enabled only after an arm, followed by a disarm of zones associated to the inputs
that have this auxiliary function.
Gong: if all the zones associated to the input are not active, the input opening generates a Gong event.
Courtesy light: if all the zones associated to the input are not active, the opening of an input associated to this function
generates a Courtesy light event. This function can be used, for example, to automatically turn the light on in a room or in a
way.
Door opening: if all the zones associated to the input are not active, the input opening activates the door opener output
associated to the same zones.

Burglar inputs attributes (Release type, AND / OR zones, AND inputs)
Burglar inputs operation mode can be further customized, by setting Release type.

Release type, determines when the alarm signalling is generated. It is possible to choose between:
Single release: alarm is generated as soon as the input is opened.
o
Double release: alarm is generated at the end of the second event, only if it occurs within 120 second from the
o
first.
•
Common input, means that the input is associated to more than one zone. It is possible to choose between:
AND Zones: it logically connects the zones to which the input is associated and alarm is generated only if all
o
the zones are active.
OR Zones: it logically connects the zones to which the input is associated and alarm is generated only if at least
o
one zone is active.
AND inputs, it logically connects two burglar inputs with the same specialisation and alarm is generated only if
o
both of them are opened within 5 minutes from the first to the second (meanwhile the first opened input can also
be closed). It is not possible to change the interval of 5 minutes. AND inputs can be used, for example, to
reduce the possibility of false alarms issued from detectors installed in critical areas.
4.6.7
Input associated to a video camera
When Gateway Video 1067/450 is used, inputs have to be associated to cameras (up to 4 cameras are managed).
During operation, alarm event from an input associated to a video camera causes a set of images to be stored which will
be sent via email to email addresses defined on Gateway Video. For more detailed information, refer to Gateway Video
1067/450 Manuals.
Every input can be associated to one video camera only; each of the 4 video cameras can be associated to more inputs.
Inputs can be specialised with any type but Tamper type and Technocogical type.
