Diagnostic Procedure with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)
ENGINE (DIAGNOSTICS)
Step
1 CHECK FUEL LEVEL SENSOR.
1) Remove the fuel pump assembly. <Ref. to
FU(H4SO)-51, Fuel Pump.>
2) Check if the resistance between fuel level
sensor terminals changes smoothly when mov-
ing the fuel level sensor float up and down.
Terminals
No. 3 — No. 2:
2 CHECK FUEL SUB LEVEL SENSOR.
1) Remove the fuel sub level sensor. <Ref. to
FU(H4SO)-54, Fuel Sub Level Sensor.>
2) Check if the resistance between fuel level
sensor terminals changes smoothly when mov-
ing the fuel sub level sensor float up and down.
