Turn the ignition switch to the ON

position (Engine off).
Measure the voltage between the
•
following circuits:
APV motor terminal D (wiring
harness-side) and body GND
APV motor terminal B (wiring
harness-side) and body GND
Is the voltage B+ ?
•
INSPECT APV MOTOR
Inspect the APV motor.
•

Is there any malfunction ?
•
INSPECT PCM CONNECTOR FOR POOR
CONNECTION
Turn the ignition switch off.
•

Disconnect the PCM connector.
•
Inspect for poor connection (such as
•
damaged/pulled-out pins, corrosion).
Is there any malfunction?
•
INSPECT APV MOTOR CIRCUIT FOR
OPEN CIRCUIT
Turn the ignition switch off.
•
Inspect for continuity between the
•
following circuits:
APV motor terminal D (wiring

harness-side) and PCM terminal
3G (wiring harness-side)
APV motor terminal B (wiring
harness-side) and PCM terminal
3J (wiring harness-side)
Is there continuity?
•
VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC

P2008 COMPLETED
No Go to the next step.
Replace the APV motor, then go to Step 9.

No Go to the next step.
Yes Repair or replace the terminal, then go to Step 9.
