Cruise control switch input circuit problem
DETECTION
CONDITION
POSSIBLE
CAUSE
The PCM monitors the input voltage from the cruise control switch when the
engine is running. If the input voltage is less than 3.0 V for more than 2 min , the
PCM determines that there is a cruise control switch input circuit problem.
Diagnostic support note
This is a continuous monitor (Other).
The MIL does not illuminate.
PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition.
FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
Cruise control switch malfunction
Connector or terminal malfunction
Short to GND in wiring harness between cruise control switch terminal B and PCM
terminal 5V
