TP sensor No.2 circuit high input
DETECTION
CONDITION
POSSIBLE
CAUSE
The PCM monitors the input voltage from the TP sensor No.2 when the engine is
•
running. If the input voltage is more than 4.8 V , the PCM determines that the TP
sensor No.2 circuit input voltage is high.
Diagnostic support note
This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
•
The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the
•
first drive cycle.
PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction
•
condition.
FREEZE FRAME DATA is available.
•
The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
•
TP sensor No.2 malfunction
•
Connector or terminal malfunction
•
Short to power supply in wiring harness between throttle body terminal D and
•
PCM terminal 1M
Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM
•
terminal 2F
