    2564 Barcode Scanner User Guide GETTING FAMILIARIZED WITH THE SCANNER AND THE CRADLE INSTALLING THE BATTERY TO THE SCANNER When you first receive the package, the rechargeable battery is stored separately from the scanner. Insert the battery into the scanner first so that it can be charged when sitting in the cradle.

    QUICK START The configuration of the scanner can be done by reading the setup barcodes contained in this manual or via the ScanMaster software. This section describes the procedure of configuring the scanner by reading the setup barcodes and provides some examples for demonstration.
