    Introduction CHARGING THE BATTERY VIA THE CRADLE The battery may not be charged to full for shipment. When you first receive the package, you will need to charge the battery to full before using the scanner. When using the RS-232 cable, it takes approximately 5 hours to charge the battery to full (from the power adaptor).

    QUICK START The configuration of the scanner can be done by reading the setup barcodes contained in this manual or via the ScanMaster software. This section describes the procedure of configuring the scanner by reading the setup barcodes and provides some examples for demonstration.
