URNSTILE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION
If the LED fails to light at all when the carrier is sent through the coupler tube, the sensor is not
functioning correctly.
Replace the sensor board if it is not functioning correctly. It is attached to the front of the coupler
tube with two Phillips-head screws.
Turnstile maintenance and operation
When the Nexus Station is initially set up, and when maintenance operations are performed, the turnstile
may require alignment and/or calibration, which include physically aligning the turnstile to set it up for
operation and then running a process that sets up an index for the turnstile within the station's software.
Instructions follow for completing these operations.
Power-up the station
Turn on the power switch at the back of the station, and allow the station to boot up. Verify that the
station starts correctly and is operational before continuing. The screen that appears upon boot-up
indicates that the station requires commissioning, as shown next.
The turnstile may turn to the left and right a few times in an attempt to align itself. Wait to perform
the next step until the turnstile has stopped moving. After the turnstile has stopped moving, you can
begin the alignment process.
