Nexus Station One-Person Installation Kit
Right and left rails
Attach the installation rails and trolley to the station
The installation rails and trolley are installed onto bolts on the left side of the station and on the outside of
the storage-rail assembly that is installed on the upper-right side of the station. Each rail includes a spring-
loaded pin that secures the rail into place on either the station wall or storage-rail assembly and provides
strength sufficient to lift the 75-pound core-turnstile assembly into the station housing.
Before you begin removing the core-turnstile assembly from the station, follow the steps to remove
the coupler-tube assembly.
NOTE. The width of the trolley wheels can be adjusted to allow for variances in the spacing
of the rails. If the trolley wheels do not slide smoothly along the rails, follow the instructions
for adjusting the wheel width so the trolley moves more smoothly along the rails.
Follow these steps to attach the installation rails and trolley to the station.
1
With the flat side of the left rail resting against the left station wall, place the two keyhole openings
over the two shoulder screws mounted on the metal plate. Then gently pull the rail down to secure
the bolts at the top of the keyhole openings, as shown.
2
Place the end of the spring-loaded pin into the pin opening located to the right of the keyholes. You
may need to adjust the position of the rail slightly to get the pin to engage. When the pin is properly
engaged, you hear it "pop" into place as the head of the pin rests against the edge of the hexagonal
bolt, as shown.
