After you have attached the front motors to the lower turnstile, you can install the security door and

Follow these steps to remove the front motors from the lower turnstile assembly.

Remove the harness attachments from the backs of each motor, as shown in the previous attach-
ment instructions.
NOTE: These instructions assume that the security door has already been removed from the station
front. If it has not been removed, remove it before proceeding with the remaining instructions.

With a large Phillips-head screwdriver, loosen the two Phillips-head attachment screws that attach
the door actuator to the lower turnstile, and carefully remove the full door-actuator assembly.

With an open-ended wrench, loosen the mounting bolt on the pin actuator. Twist the mounting bolt
by hand until it can be fully removed from the lower turnstile.

Turnstile motor and arm

The turnstile motor, located within the frame at the lower-right of the turnstile assembly, can be replaced
only with the core-turnstile assembly raised from the base frame in the station. Follow the instructions to
raise the core-turnstile assembly from the station, and then lock the winch and trolley in place to remove
and replace the turnstile motor and arm.
