THER PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS
Corrective action
Carriers can be removed without taking apart the brake
assembly. To remove them, open the Diagnostics
menu, and complete each of these steps, in order.
Lift the push rod.
Open the slide plate and let the first carrier drop.
Close the brake to keep the second carrier in place.
Close the slide plate.
Lower the push rod.
Rotate the carousel to the left or right until an
open slot is in the back position, aligned with the
station pipe.
Repeat until all carriers have been removed.
If you cannot remove all of the carriers using functions
on the Diagnostics menu, take apart the brake assem-
bly by loosening the two metal clamps and sliding the
rubber tube from the station pipe and slide plate
assembly.
Verify that the turnstile encoder cable is securely ter-
minated on the control board.
Verify the correct polarization on the turnstile motor
wires. The brown wire goes to the positive terminal; the
black wire goes to the negative terminal.
Verify that the four-position ribbon cable is connected
from the HMI control panel to the touch screen.
Tighten both screws that attach the security door to
the door-nut mount. Be careful not to over-tighten the
nuts, as over-tightening will deform the security door.
Open the brake assembly and verify that nothing is
in the way of the photo-diode

dures.
