NSTRUCTIONS FOR TROUBLESHOOTING COMMON COMPONENT ERRORS
User interface is resetting
This error generally clears itself. If it does not clear on its own, follow the steps in the next table to correct
the error.

I/O board communications failure
A communications failure can be caused by a failure in bonding, grounding, or electrical connections in sev-
eral key places. If you complete all troubleshooting procedures, and communications failures persist, replace
the interface board with the latest revision, and include mitigation techniques and fixes listed in step 4.

1 Inspect the I2C bus connectors.
2 Inspect the bonding / grounding, as represented by
the green grounding wires, in these locations (as
shown):
Between the chassis and slide plate;
Between the power supply and chassis;
Between the chassis and collar.

The user interface resets and opens to the default home
screen.
If the user interface does not reset, stop and restart the
station at the power switch.
If the user interface does not reset after cycling the
power, replace the HMI board.

Bus connector is securely connected, as shown.
Bonding is intact in all listed locations, with connected
ends securely attached to the metal frame or other com-
ponent as required.
If the ends are disconnected, reattach them with a
securely tightened screw.
If any of the green wires is frayed or damaged,
replace the wire.
