25.1 Functions of ROM Correction

The
PD78F0136H, 78F0138H, and 78F0138HD can replace part of a program in the flash memory with a
program in the internal expansion RAM.
Program bugs found in the flash memory can be avoided, and program flow can be changed by using the ROM
correction.
The ROM correction can correct two places (max.) of the internal flash memory (program).
Caution The ROM correction cannot be emulated by the in-circuit emulator.

25.2 Configuration of ROM Correction

The ROM correction includes the following hardware.
