Configuration procedure
1. Enable IPv6 forwarding and assign the IP address and prefix length to each interface as per

2. Configure the OSPFv3 protocol for interoperation among the routers in the IPv6 PIM-SM domain.
Ensure the network-layer interoperation in the IPv6 PIM-SM domain and enable dynamic update of
routing information among the routers through an IPv6 unicast routing protocol. (Details not
shown.)
3. Enable IPv6 multicast routing, IPv6 PIM-SM and MLD:
