manifolding.
Fuel nozzles defective.
Malfunctioning turbo-
charger.
Exhaust system gas leakage.
Restricted flow to fuel
metering valve.
Fuel nozzle vent system de-
fective causing improper
pressure regulation.
Fuel control lever interfer-
ence.
Cause

Remedy
Inspect entire manifold systion
tem for possible leakage at
connections. Replace dam
aged components; tighten all
connections and clamps.
Inspect fuel nozzle vent man-
ifold for leaking connection.
Tighten and repair as re-
quired. Check for restricted
nozzles and lines and clean
or replace as necessary.
Check for unusual noise in
turbocharger. If malfunc-
tion is suspected, remove ex-
haust and/or air inlet con-
nections and check rotor
assembly for possible rub-
bing in housing, damaged
rotor or defective bearings.
Replace turbocharger if
damage is noted.
Inspect exhaust system for
gas leakage, gaskets at tur -
bine inlet flanges, etc., and
correct.
Check mixture control for
full travel. Check for restric-
tions in fuel filters and lines;
adjust control and clean
filters. Replace damaged
parts.
Check venting system for
leaks at connections and
other defects. Tighten con-
nections and replace defec-
tive parts.
Check operation of throttle
control and for possible con-
tact with cooling shroud.
Adjust as required to obtain
correct operation.
