The test button is used to check the operation of the lights when the engine is running. The lights will work
when the engine is not running with the master switch turned on.
Oil pressure sensor and vacuum sensor switches are similar in
looks and size. Insure correct unit is to be installed per Parts
Catalog part number and description.
TROUBLESHOOTING.
Trouble
All the warning lights fail to
operate.
All the warning lights fail to
extinguish after engine is
running.
OIL warning light fails to
operate.

ANNUNCIATOR PANEL
Blown fuse.
No current from bus.
Test switch grounded out.
Bulb burned out.
No current to sensor.
Sensor activates at a too low
setting.
Defective sensor.
Sensor activates at a too
high setting.
Sensor terminals bridged.
Defective sensor.
—NOTE—
Cause

Remedy
Replace the 5 amp fuse be-
hind instrument panel.
Check all wire segments,
connections, and the re-
ceptacle at the left side of
the annunciator panel.
Check terminals and replace
switch if necessary.
Replace.
Check all wire segments and
connections.
Replace.

Remove material between
terminals.
