control assembly.
Defective relief valve opera-
tion in fuel injector.
Restricted recirculation pas-
sage in fuel injector.
Air leakage in fuel gauge
vent pressurization line.
Vapor in fuel system.
Fuel gauge line leak or im-
properly purged lines.
Insufficient oil in oil sump,
oil dilution or using im-
proper grade of oil for prevail
ing ambient temperature.

Remedy
Check and adjust using ap
propriate equipment. Re
place defective pump.
Replace pump if cleaning
and lapping valve does not
correct problem.
Locate cause of leakage and
correct.
Check for restricted fuel
nozzles or fuel manifold
valve. Clean or replace noz-
zles. Replace defective fuel
manifold valve.
Check fuel injector pump
control line from turbo-
charger for loose connec-
tions and defects. Tighten
connections, replace dam-
aged line.
Replace pump.
Locate cause of leakage and
eliminate.
Normally operating the aux-
iliary pump will clear sys
tem. Operate auxiliary pump
and purge system.
Purge gauge line and tighten
connections.
Add oil or change oil to
proper viscosity.
