Inadequate fuel to fuel mani-
fold valve.
Defective ignition system.
Improper idle mixture
adjustment.
Fouled spark plugs.
Discharge nozzle air vent
manifold restricted or defec-
tive.
Idle mixture too lean.
Incorrect fuel-air mixture,
worn control linkage or re-
stricted air cleaner.
Defective ignition system.
Malfunctioning turbo-
charger.

Remedy
Set fuel control in "FULL
RICH" position; turn aux-
iliary pump "ON," check to
be sure feed lines and filters
are not restricted. Clean or
replace defective components.
Check accessible ignition
cables and connections.
Tighten loose connections.
Replace defective spark plugs.
Readjust idle setting. Turn
adjustment screw clockwise
to lean mixture and counter-
clockwise to richen mixture.
Remove and clean plugs, ad-
just gaps. Replace defective
plugs.
Check for bent or loose con
nections. Tighten loose con
nections. Check for restric
tions and replace defective
components.
Readjust idle mixture.
Tighten loose connections.
Service air cleaner.
Check accessible cables and
connections. Replace defec-
tive spark plugs.
Check operation; listen for :
unusual noise. Check ex-
haust bypass screw and for
exhaust system defects.
Tighten loose connections.
