When you press the HELP button on the front panel of your instrument, the
instrument online help is accessed. Use the instrument online help when you
have questions about buttons, features, operations, or anything else related to
your instrument. It is:
Context-sensitive. The topic displayed depends on what is displayed in the
active tile when the online help is selected or what control is operated after
help is selected.
Navigable. The Contents and Topic Selector panes, with links within the
topics, provide access to topics. (See Figure 2 on page 14.)
Getting Acquainted with Your Instrument
Usage procedures
Use to set parameters, view instrument
options, upgrade software, and perform
many other tasks.
Use to navigate menus and select
parameters.
Use to navigate menus and adjust
parameters.
Use to position waveforms when displayed
in tiles or full-screen. When the Audio tile is
active, use the Horizontal knob to adjust the
headphone volume.
Press to turn the instrument on or off. Note
that this button does not remove power from
the mains.
Access to picture brightness, LCD backlight
intensity, dim display, Infinite Persistence
mode, and save display to USB function.
Access to Tile select function, 4-tile and
full-screen display modes, Multi-Input Display
mode, 3D input type select, Multi-Button
function, Overlay (TandemVu®) mode, and
USB status.
Access to the LTC Display, External
Reference Waveform Display, and
Diagnostics Monitor. (See page 53, LTC

Waveform Display.)
