The following examples shows the I/O bits allocated when one 24-point
Expansion I/O Unit is connected. Bits IR 00100 to IR 00115 are allocated to
the Unit's inputs and bits IR 011 00 to IR 01107 are allocated to the Unit's out-
puts.

Do not use
The following examples shows the I/O bits allocated when an 8-point Input
Unit, 24-point Expansion I/O Unit, and 16-point Output Unit are connected.
Output bits are not allocated to the Input Unit and input bits are not allocated
to the Output Unit.
