Planning the cabling for digital sensors

21.2.1

Voltage supply to the bus with DC 5 V from a JUMO AQUIS touch S

The line length specifications in this subchapter apply for supplying JUMO eco-
Line sensors and sensors with JUMO digiLine electronics from a DC 5 V voltage
supply output on a JUMO AQUIS touch S. In this case, stub lines can also be
supplied from a JUMO digiLine hub or through use of JUMO Y-splitters. If a
JUMO digiLine hub is used, the slide switch on the JUMO digiLine hub must be
set to the position for DC 5 V as the input voltage. With the switch in this posi-
tion, the input voltage of DC 5 V is fed through to the outputs of the JUMO dig-
iLine hub.
