Calibration routines for turbidity sensors

19.3.1

Two-point calibration

NOTE!
Turbidity sensors can be configured with automatic selection of the measuring
range. Accordingly, calibrations must be performed for all "accessible measur-
ing ranges".
NOTE!
You must be logged in with corresponding user rights to perform calibrations.

NOTE!
Digital sensors need to be linked before they can be calibrated.

Step
Action
1
Start the two-point calibration.
Device Menu > Calibration > Digital Sensor 1 to 6 >
Two-Point Calibration
2
Enter one of the measuring ranges 1 to 4.. Confirm the entry by
pressing "OK"
3
Clean the sensor and immerse it in the distilled water.
4
The device displays the current measured value of the distilled wa-
ter. The user does not need to make any entries here.
5
Wait until the measured value displayed stabilizes and then con-
firm the result of the measurement by pressing "OK"
6
Immerse the sensor in a formazine reference solution. Its turbidity
value should be approximately at the middle of the selected mea-
suring range.
