3.1.2. Regular Maintenance
Recommendation
The robot is designed to be able to work under very demanding conditions with a minimum
of maintenance. Time between services can vary depending on the influence of the
environment the robot is exposed for. We strongly recommend that at every stop in production
and after every wash down, the robot is inspected concerning the following parts:
Inspect regularly:
Telescopic shaft
Spring Units
Bars
Universal Joints
Nevertheless, certain routine checks and preventative maintenance must be carried out at
specified periodic intervals, as shown in the table below.
Preventative Maintenance
The robot should be cleaned.
Check that the sealing joints and cable glands are really
airtight so that dust and dirt are not sucked into the cabinet.
Lubricate sealings at regular intervals and when needed,
