Glossary
Blood test used to diagnose type 1 or 2 diabetes and to gauge
how well you're managing your diabetes. The A1C test result
reflects your average blood sugar level for the past two to three
months.
Wearable smart devices used with the Dexcom G5 to add
mobility to the system. An example of an accessory device is
the Apple Watch

Do not use alternative site testing to calibrate the Dexcom G5.

requires an active connection with the iPhone to have full
functionality.

BG is an abbreviation of blood glucose. Blood glucose value is
the amount of glucose in the blood measured by a BG meter.
A medical device used to measure how much glucose is in the
blood.
