What Is the Dexcom G5?
What it does
Contains small insertion needle and sensor wire. Inserts
sensor wire under the skin. Disposable, for single use only.
Removed after insertion.
Keeps all moving parts in place before insertion. Prevents
accidental sensor insertion.
Tool to remove transmitter after sensor session. Put in
transmitter box after removal to use later.
Collar removes insertion needle.
Inserts sensor wire into your body.
Securely snaps transmitter into sensor pod.
Holds transmitter and sensor wire.
Water resistant when transmitter is properly installed.
Discarded after sensor session.
Keeps sensor pod attached to your skin.
