    A self-contained program or piece of software designed to fulfill a particular purpose; an application, especially as downloaded by a user to a smart or mobile device. The Dexcom G5 Mobile App was developed as a display for continuous glucose monitoring. Blood Glucose (BG) BG is an abbreviation of blood glucose.
