5. Install:
• Weight
• Bolt
• Nut
• Bolt
• Nut
• Set bolts
Nut:
6 Nm (0.6 m•kgf, 4.3 ft•lbf)
Set bolt:
4 Nm (0.4 m•kgf, 2.9 ft•lbf)

LOCTITE
TIP
To tighten the set bolts
bearing surfaces of the bolt
against the primary sliding sheave after tight-
ening the nut
.
6. Install:
• Primary sheave spring
• Primary sheave cap
TIP
Be sure the sheave cap match mark (X)
aligned with the spider match mark (X)
Primary sheave cap bolt:
14 Nm (1.4 m•kgf, 10 ft•lbf)

INSTALLATION

1. Install:
• Primary sheave assembly
NOTICE
Be sure to remove any oil or grease from
the tapered portion of the crankshaft and
spider using a cloth dampened with thin-
ner.
