DRIVE CHAIN HOUSING
4. Install:
• Shift rod
5. Adjust:
• Shift rod length
Adjustment steps:
• Move the shift lever to the "FWD." position.
• Loosen the locknuts
• Turn the shift rod
is 0 mm (in direction where
ened appropriately) and then turn back the
shift rod 1/2 turns.
• Tighten the locknuts.
Shift rod end locknut:
7 mm (0.7 m•kgf, 5.1 ft•lbf)
6. Fill:
• Drive chain housing oil
Refer to "DRIVE CHAIN" in CHAPTER 2.
7. Adjust:
• Drive chain slack
Refer to "DRIVE CHAIN" in CHAPTER 2.
