3. Disconnect:
• Starter relay coupler
4. Connect:
• Starter relay coupler terminals
Jumper lead
5. Inspect:
• Starter motor operation
Check the main fuse and ignition fuse.
Refer to "FUSE INSPECTION" in CHAPTER
2.
Check the engine stop switch and main
switch.
Refer to "IGNITION SYSTEM".
Check the electrical starting system wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
Correct the connection.

Replace the starter relay.
Replace the main fuse and/or ignition fuse.
Replace the right handlebar switch and/or
main switch.
Properly connect or repair the electrical
starting system wiring.
