AC MAGNETO ROTOR AND STARTER CLUTCH
4. Tighten:
• AC magneto rotor bolt
AC magneto rotor bolt:
130 Nm (13.0 m•kgf, 94 ft•lbf)
TIP
• Lubricate the AC magneto rotor bolt and
washer with engine oil.
• While holding the AC magneto rotor
the primary clutch holder (sheave holder)
tighten the AC magneto rotor bolt.
Primary clutch holder:
YS-01880-A
Sheave holder:
90890-01701
5. Apply:
• Sealant
(onto the AC magneto lead grommet)
Yamaha bond No. 1215:
(Three Bond No.1215
90890-85505
6. Install:
• AC magneto rotor cover gasket
• AC magneto rotor cover
AC magneto rotor cover bolt:
12 Nm (1.2 m•kgf, 8.7 ft•lbf)
TIP
Apply locking agent (LOCTITE
of the bolt , which is indicated by the "
mark on the AC magneto rotor cover.
