AC MAGNETO ROTOR AND STARTER CLUTCH

REMOVAL

1. Remove:
• AC magneto rotor bolt
• Washer
TIP
While holding the AC magneto rotor
the primary clutch holder (sheave holder)
loosen the AC magneto rotor bolt.
Primary clutch holder:
YS-01880-A
Sheave holder:
90890-01701
2. Remove:
• AC magneto rotor
(with the heavy duty puller (flywheel puller)
and crankshaft protector (flywheel puller
attachment))
• Woodruff key
NOTICE
To protect the end of the crankshaft, place
a crankshaft protector (flywheel puller
attachment) between the heavy duty puller
(flywheel puller) set's center bolt and the
crankshaft.
TIP
Make sure the heavy duty puller (flywheel
puller) is centered over the AC magneto rotor.
