show rps

Use the show rps privileged EXEC command to display the status of the Cisco Redundant Power System
(RPS).

Usage Guidelines
Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output
do not appear, but the lines that contain Output appear.
Examples
This is an example of output from the show rps command.
Switch# show rps
GREEN

show rps [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression]
(Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the specified expression.
(Optional) Display excludes lines that match the specified expression.
(Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression.
Expression in the output to use as a reference point.
Modification
This command was introduced.
show rps Output Description
Description
The RPS is off or not properly connected.
The RPS is connected and ready to provide back-up power, if required.
The RPS is connected but is unavailable because it is providing power to
another device (redundancy has been allocated to a neighboring device).
