Cause
There is a problem with the
fax.
The entered user name or
password does not match that
specified for LDAP server
authentication.
A network error has occurred
and connection has failed.
Original jammed during
Memory Transmission.
The specified group contains
fax destinations, and/or e-
mail destinations, either of
which are incompatible with
the specified transmission
method.
The first page of the document
is almost blank.
Solution
Record the code number shown on the
display and contact your service
representative. Other functions can be
used.
Make settings correctly for the user
name and the password for LDAP server
authentication.
• Try the operation once more. If the
message is still shown, the network
may be crowded.
• In [System Settings], under
[Administrator Tools], check the
settings of LDAP server. For details,
see "Programming the LDAP
server", Network and System
Settings Guide
.
Press [Exit], and then send the
documents again.
In the message that appears at each
transmission, press [Select].
The original's blank side might have
been scanned. Be sure to place your
originals correctly. For details about
determining the cause of blank pages,
see "Detecting Blank Sheet", Facsimile
Reference
.
