20.3.27 Details about the Power function (x to the y)
20.3.27.1 Behaviour
The module calculates a specific power of the input value and outputs it as result on the Output
0 .
If the result of the calculation is invalid, the value 1 (logical "true") is output on the Output 1. In
this case, no value is output on the Output 0.
The internal data type of this module is Number. If necessary, incoming values are converted
into the internal data type before the calculation (see conversion table below).
20.3.27.2 Extended settings
You can specify to which exponent the power shall be calculated (e.g. 2 for x²)
