Installation and Operation
Some software applications monitor the tape drive's
cleaning needs and automatically insert the cleaning
cartridge in the drive whenever it needs cleaning. If this is
true in your case, you do not need to enable Autoclean.
Tcleaning
Use DLT™ Cleaning Tape III only. Using cloth
swabs, cotton swabs, cleaning agents, or
cleaning cartridges not approved for your tape
drive by Exabyte may void the tape drive
warranty.
Make sure the fixed slot contains a cleaning cartridge.
