The robot Open the library door and look for
anything that might be blocking the
calibration targets.
A clean drive Use the Open Tape Drive command to
unload the cartridge and open the tape
drive. Remove the cartridge.
Make sure the cartridge in the tape
drive is a cleaning cartridge.
If the cartridge is a cleaning cartridge,
make sure it has cleaning cycles
available.
Make sure all devices (including
terminators) are either single-ended or
differential.
Make sure the library and tape drives
are not being used by any host, then
reset the library from the operator
panel.
If the error persists, contact your
service provider. You may be asked to
supply a diagnostic listing; you may
need new firmware or a new controller
card.
