QSFP+ transceivers

Feature Pack Release 10.3.2 adds support for Avaya Quad (4-channel) Small Form Factor
Pluggable Plus (QSFP+) transceivers. QSFP+ transceivers interface with the 7002QQ-MDA to
provide VSP 7000 Series switches with 40 Gbps connection speeds over various media types and
distances. For more information, see

SFP+ devices

In addition to the SFP+ devices currently supported, Release 10.3 adds support for SFP+
10GBASE-ZR/ZW and CWDM devices for increased connectivity options and reach.
The CWDM SFP+ devices are all 1-port Ethernet, LC Duplex connector type transceivers. They are
also Digital Diagnostic Interfaces (DDI) that support Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM). DDM
allows the VSP 7000 to monitor SFP laser operating characteristics.
